The Potting Shed.
Potting sheds are often one of those havens where you can lose yourself, literally pottering away without a care in the world.
But they can also be a hub for a very varied group of diseases that can infect both plants (Pathogens from Fungi, Bacteria and Viruses surviving on surfaces, tools and old pots) Spores and Pests (trapped in poorly ventilated sheds) - and Humans (including Legionnaires disease, Tetanus, Fungal and Bacterial Infections).
The primary risks come from airborne pathogens and bacteria in soil, compost, and stagnant water.
Clean watering cans, dampen dust from soils and compost before disposing of them, keep the place (unnaturally) tidy so you can see where problems may start and clad walls where you are potting, planting and pricking out.
